A shop-vac gets the visible puddle. Our Water Extraction process is built for what's still soaking into materials underneath, which is where the real damage lives.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter against a dry baseline, not by how the surface looks or feels, since a floor can appear dry while the material underneath stays saturated.
None of this changes for a small job either — the same standard applies whether it's a single-room water extraction call or a larger one.
These four things matter together, not in isolation — certification, speed, honest pricing, and the right equipment are what actually change the outcome of a water extraction call.
Commercial extraction units outpull portable equipment on every surface type we work with.
A job isn't finished until moisture readings confirm it, not a visual pass-through.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
You know the number before extraction starts, based on what we actually find.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
We clear the obvious water fast, then go after what's still trapped in materials.
Specialized wands lift water between boards without forcing moisture deeper into the wood.
Pad gets extracted independently from the carpet surface, since it retains water far longer.
Extraction dwell time gets adjusted based on how porous the specific concrete surface is.
Furniture and upholstered items get evaluated on-site for extraction versus replacement.
A final moisture sweep confirms target levels were actually reached before we leave.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
Dispatch gathers just enough detail to load the right equipment before the truck leaves.
Crews staged locally get to your address quickly, equipment already loaded for Water Extraction work.
You approve the number before equipment turns on — no surprise invoice after the fact.
A job isn't closed on a visual check — it's closed on a verified reading.
These reviews come from real water extraction calls, not a curated highlight reel.
"Moisture readings after the fact gave me real confidence, not just a verbal assurance."
Jasper L., Brooklyn"They tested pad separately from carpet, which caught moisture I would've missed entirely."
Rosalind P., Brooklyn"Extraction from our finished basement slab was handled with a completely different approach than I expected, and they explained why."
Micah S., Brooklyn"The pad testing caught moisture the carpet surface alone never would have revealed."
Fernanda Q., Brooklyn"They walked me through exactly what the moisture meter was reading at each stage."
Zora P., BrooklynIf your question about water extraction isn't covered here, call +1-844-578-1604 and we'll walk you through it directly.
Our water extraction coverage spans 52211, with crews positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying Brooklyn address isn't treated as a lower priority for water extraction.
If you're unsure whether your address falls in our water extraction service area, just call — we'll confirm quickly rather than making you guess.
